Russell is an associate in the Corporate, Commercial and Technology Department and has advised on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, series fund raisings and corporate reorganisation and restructuring exercises, as well as general corporate and regulatory advisory matters.

He has acted for a diverse range of clients, including startups, multinational corporations, and established businesses across various industries including healthcare, manufacturing, education, technology, and retail. 

His experience includes the commercialisation of intellectual property, technology transfers, software licensing agreements, licensing of technology, data protection, as well as non-contentious employment matters. 

Russell holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Exeter and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020.

He is a member of The Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
