Biography

Jennifer Lim is a Consultant with the firm. She does primarily ligation work but is also familiar with matters involving conveyancing, landlord and tenancy, probate, corporate and commercial practices.

She graduated from the University of East Anglia, UK in 1990 with an LLB (Hons.) She qualified as a barrister in England and Wales in 1991 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in January 1993.

She served in the Singapore Police Force for three years before commencing her legal practice in the criminal litigation department which included petty crimes, commercial crimes and capital cases. Her current legal practice and work portfolio comprises litigation, real estate transactions as well as corporate and commercial work.

Jennifer sits on the boards of several charitable organisations in Singapore including We Care Community Services. She is also Legal Advisor to numerous organisations including the Thong Chai Medical Institute, Singapore Kwong Wai Siu Peck San Theng, Singapore Taoist Federation, Singapore Dragon Boat Association, Singapore Federation of Merchants Association, several merchants associations in the heartlands of Singapore, pugilistic associations, lion/dragon dance associations, temples, trade associations, cultural and arts associations, Chinese clan associations and numerous community based organisations.

She is au fait with the English and Mandarin languages as well as Hokkien, Teochew and Cantonese. Jennifer is also able to communicate in sign language (SGSL).

She is a member of The Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
